Hard pill to swallow from opportunistic starlet:
Appearances are everything on social media.
So, in hopes of showing off Instagram-worthy moments for a special occasion, Wily Juggler (WJ) contacted dozens of online flower shops, bakeries and catering services, asking for flower arrangements, cakes and food in exchange for shoutouts on her social media accounts.
Then, the big day comes. And sure enough, WJ put on a display of excesses, her home overflowing with sweets and all sorts of goodies. However, WJ didn’t credit all the businesses immediately, perhaps to give off the impression that she was #blessed.
WJ did eventually put out their names—but not before the business owners started complaining and calling her out online.
But still, they felt they got the short end of the stick. A disgruntled, newbie entrepreneur felt that WJ didn’t give commensurate exposure, because the cake he sent was, to his dismay, simply lumped together with several others and didn’t have clear markers to identify which is which. “I had no idea WJ also contacted others,” the small business owner told a mole. Gotcha!
