Kris Aquino dispels rumors on son Josh getting married, thanks Ogie Diaz for defending him

The Queen of All Media has dispelled rumors that her eldest son, Josh, is getting married soon to a girl he allegedly got pregnant.
Kris Aquino also thanked Ogie Diaz for defending her son, as the talent manager took to his YouTube channel on March 2 to slam other YouTubers who were spreading the false information.
“[Like] any parent, initially nung pinakita sa kin yung [YouTube] fake news about kuya [Josh], nagalit ako… then pinanuod ko ang kumpareng @ogie_diaz ko sa vlog nya, and may tumatak sa ‘kin — Ogie said words to the effect na “hindi naman natin tinatanggal ang posibilidad na maging tatay ang panganay ni Kris” and dun ako nahimasmasan,” Aquino said on Instagram yesterday, March 4.
(Like any parent, when I initially saw the YouTube fake news about kuya, I got mad… then I watched my friend Ogie Diaz’s vlog, and something he said struck me — Ogie said words to the effect that “it is not like we are removing the possibility that Kris’ eldest son can be a father,” and that is when I came back to my senses.)

“Kung meron mang tao na una nating mababalitaan na nakabuntis si Joshua, yan ay si Kris Aquino. Hindi magpapahuli si Kris Aquino. Kaya yung mga nag-iimbento hindi ko na masabi, Diyos ko, tigilan niyo na yung mga ganyan. Gusto niyo lang maka-attract ng views,” Diaz said in his vlog. He cited a showbiz-focused YouTube channel as the source of the fake news.
(If there is a person who should be the first to know that Joshua has gotten a girl pregnant, it is Kris Aquino. Kris Aquino will not just let this get past her. So, to those who are inventing stories, my God, stop doing it. You just want to attract views.)
“Thank you pare, for all the years that [Kuya Josh], because he is in the autism spectrum, was made a punching bag on social media just because it was convenient when people wanted to play dirty politics, you made me feel that you saw him as a human being with the same right to love and be loved like everyone else,” Aquino, meanwhile, said on Diaz’s words.
“Many parents who raised or are raising children with special needs will identify with me… we know the challenges & we celebrate the victories. Kuya’s desire for independence now is a WIN!” she added, as her son last month admitted that he preferred living in Tarlac, despite being away from his mother and brother.
“[Tanggap] namin na malabong mangyari for [Josh] to have a wife & children. [Pero] marunong talaga ang langit… binubuhusan sya ng sobra sobrang pagmamahal ng lahat ng mga pinsan ko at kapitbahay nya ngayon sa Tarlac because his HEART is pure and his affection is REAL,” Aquino stressed.
(We accept that it may be unlikely for Josh to have a wife and children. But, heaven really knows what it is doing… Josh is being blessed with so much love from my cousins and his neighbors in Tarlac now because his heart is pure and his affection is real.)
Aquino reunited with her son Josh on Feb. 18, around two months since they last spent time with each other as Josh has been living in Tarlac, while Aquino and her other son, Bimby, reside in a serviced apartment in Taguig. The two will soon be moving to a beach house in the province, while Josh will remain in Tarlac. /ra
