JC Cares Foundation partners with the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay organization for a bloodletting activity to provide hospitals and patients free blood.

JC Cares Foundation continues its advocacy to help Filipinos in need by taking on a new mission, giving its support to a bloodletting activity conducted by Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay and the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

“Marami pa rin ang nangangailangan ng dugo, lalo na ngayong nagka-pandemic. We are thankful to have partnered with JC Cares Foundation, through Mr. Jonathan So and Mr. Carlito Macadangdang. Their good hearts and their support to our cause means a lot to those who are in need,” said Napoleon Marilag, founder of Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay, an organization that organizes bloodletting activities to provide blood to hospitals.

Activities such as this help hospitals to have readily available blood for patients in need. Since the pandemic, bloodletting activities have to be postponed, and it was only recently that the organization was able to continue this activity.

Reservist and organic personnel of the Reserved Command of the AFP, headed by Brig. Gen. Ferdinand M. Fraginal, volunteered to donate blood including some civilians.

Members of the Reserve Command of the Armed Forces of the Philippines volunteered to donate blood during the bloodletting activity in partnership with JC Cares Foundation.

Medical Technologists from St. Luke’s Global and St. Luke’s Quezon City conducted the bloodletting activity.

Representatives of the foundation and the JC Group of companies — with brands such as Siomai King, toktok, CopperMask, Calvit-C, Boy Bondat, and Mang Bok’s — participated in the bloodletting activity.

The foundation provided food to donors and volunteers who took the time to participate in the activity. Vitamins and masks were also given to the kind donors and volunteers so they could stay safe as well from the virus.

Jonathan So and Carl Macadangdang, founders of JC Cares, continue to support organizations with missions to provide aid to underprivileged Filipinos.

Siomai King, a sister company of JC Cares, together with Boy Bondat and Mang Bok’s, delivers food for the donors, volunteers, medical team, and organizers of the bloodletting activity.

Volunteers from JC Cares Foundation participated in the bloodletting activity.

JC Cares Foundation joins the bloodletting activity together with volunteers from the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the medical technologists of St. Luke’s Global and St. Luke’s Quezon City.
