MANILA, Philippines — Korean actress Son Ye-jin said she is thankful to have met a “good person” following the confirmation of her relationship with “Crash Landing On You” co-star Hyun Bin.
In an Instagram post on Friday, the actress admitted feeling shy over the news about her personal life.
“It’s a new year. Appearing in front of all of you with news about my personal life rather than work-related news for the first time, I wonder why I feel so embarrassed…Yes, that’s how it turned out,” Son wrote, as quoted and translated by news site Soompi.
“I’m thankful to have been able to meet a good person, and I’ll work hard to tend [the relationship] with care,” she added.
Son also expressed appreciation for her fans’ continuous support.
“The love and support that all of you give me, I’m always keeping it in my heart.. I hope there will be many good things in the new year. Be healthy,” she said.
The couple’s respective talent agencies confirmed that the two began dating after “Crash Landing On You” wrapped up.
It was in February 2020 when the Korean drama, which started airing in December 2019, ended.
Apart from “Crash Landing On You,” they also co-starred in the 2018 film “Negotiation.”
