Kapuso Star Roxanne Barcelo revealed that she got engaged and married earlier this year amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Barcelo shared the good news to her fans via her YouTube vlog titled “Hear Me Out,” which she released on Christmas Eve.
“I got engaged. My partner asked me to marry him. And he said he wants to start a family with me. It was such a beautiful moment because he asked me twice,” Barcelo said.
“He asked me for the first time a few months after quarantine. Pero since naka-lockdown pa noon (but since we were under the lockdown back then), all we knew was we were going to get married before the year ends,” she added.
“Totoo pala ‘yung ‘When you know, you know.’ I knew from the start na siya ‘yung para sa akin (So the saying “When you know, you know” really is true. I knew from the start that he is the one for me),” Barcelo said.
Barcelo also took to Instagram on Christmas Day to share two wedding photos with the public, which both celebrities and fans alike enjoyed. She did not disclose, however, the dates of her engagement and marriageq to her non-showbiz partner.
“Merry Christmas from me and my husband.[emoji] #flashbackfriday,” Barcelo said in one post.
“My Creator’s best gift ever,” Barcelo said in the following post.
Aside from her marriage, Barcelo also updated fans on several things that have happened or are happening in her life, including the founding of the Doc B Foundation in honor of her late father. /ra
