A ‘drive-through’ Christmas visit for Aicelle Santos
Q. How do you plan to celebrate the Christmas season amid the pandemic?
A. My husband, Mark Zambrano, and I are thankful to have our first baby, Zandrine.
This Christmas, I hope to visit my parents and have them meet our daughter. I haven’t been able to see them this past year, because we’re all high-risk individuals. We try to avoid staying in and sharing different households as much as possible. So, it would be nice if we could find a way to have them see the baby while remaining socially distant … even if it’s just a “drive-through” visit.
Our baby is a wonderful blessing. She gives me hope. She inspires me to wake up every day and think that everything will be OK, despite all anxieties and worries. The health of my family is the most important. And I thank God for the faith he has instilled in me. —ALLAN POLICARPIO
