Seasoned star likes to keep ‘em waiting
Careless Señora (CS) is one of those celebrities known to arrive fashionably late in industry events. In fact, it’s not uncommon for her to keep the people she engages with waiting for a minimum of three hours.
But you’d think things would be different if CS would attend a live broadcast of a program, especially since productions like this follow a strict schedule.
Imagine the panic that the host of a two-hour radio show felt when CS showed up at the radio station with only 30 minutes left before the program would go off the air.
The poor host had to stretch the early parts of his show and cram everything he had lined up for the segment allotted for CS, who happened to be his main guest, during the final 30 minutes. Let’s not even mention the comments of his listeners/online viewers who felt either disinterested or shortchanged after waiting for CS for so long.
Can somebody please tell CS that being on time is a sign of self-discipline and respect for others? It was like they were, uh, waiting for Godot. Grrr!
