“See You This Christmas” single cover
Nicole Laurel-Asensio wasn’t feeling as festive as the Christmas décor she was going over when the idea behind her latest Christmas single “Hope I See You This Christmas,” released on Spotify last Friday, began percolating in her mind.
The song, written in just 15 minutes, made Nicole think about the true meaning of Christmas. She explains, “Even if we recount everything the pandemic took away from us, we can still celebrate the true meaning of Christmas without the fanfare. After all, isn’t Christmas really about giving Him thanks and praise?”
After making a demo of the song with Ira Cruz, Nicole rounded up her savvy musician-friends, including Lawrence Nolan, Simon Tan, Nikko Rivera, Michael Guevarra and Lester Sorilla, to help her carry out her sultry Christmas carol.
‘PBB Connect’ theme song launched
“Pinoy Big Brother Connect” kicked off yesterday. Chosen from 177,000 auditionees from all over the world, the 14 latest housemates were first introduced in “PBB Kumulitan,” a digital show on Kumu.

Former “PBB” housemates Kiara Takahashi, Shawntel Cruz, Jem Macatuno and Lie Reposposa wrote and sang the official soundtrack of “PBB Connect,” titled “Connected Na Tayo.” The lyric video for the song is now up on Facebook and YouTube.
