P-pop group SB19 has claimed the No. 6 spot on Billboard’s Top Social 50 Artists of 2020 chart, making them the only Filipino act in the top 10.

“Thank you for the recognition, @billboardcharts And of course, to our beloved A’TIN, thank you for all of the unimaginable plot twists in our life. Too grateful to have you. Stay amazing, guys!” the group stated on Instagram yesterday, Dec. 4.

SB19’s achievement came just after the group claimed the top spot on Billboard’s LyricFind Global chart for their hit song “Alab” late last month. The group also ranked 6th on the LyricFind chart in the United States, as seen on Billboard’s website.

Prior to landing in the Top Social 50 Artists of 2020 chart, the group already previously entered the Social 50 list at number 3 back in July, just behind BTS and EXO.

SB19 is the first and only Filipino group to make it to the Social 50 chart so far. They debuted at the 28th spot back in December 2019.

In November also last year, SB19 also made it to Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart. The P-pop group, composed of Sejun, Josh, Stell, Ken and Justin, was trained by a Korean entertainment company before debuting in the Philippines in 2018.  /ra
