MANILA, Philippines — Renowned Broadway actress Lea Salonga has posted a photo of her and United States presidential candidate Joe Biden, as a way of throwing her support for the Democratic Party stalwart.

Salonga’s post on her personal Facebook account on Wednesday showed her and Biden in two old photos, both she said were taken at a previous Tony Awards ceremony.

Republican and incumbent US President Donald Trump, who is seeking reelection, is currently in a tight battle with Biden. As of this posting, media reports say that Biden is inching closer to winning this year’s elections, as he approaches clinching victory in 270 Electoral Colleges.
