Several American stars have taken to social media to share with fans their political views amid the 2020 United States presidential elections.
“The Hangover” star Ken Jeong, for one, has been campaigning for presidential candidate Joe Biden. He has also been actively sharing updates on the elections via social media.
Jeong’s current pinned post on Twitter, which was made yesterday, Nov. 3, is a video showing Donald Trump’s wife, Melania, claiming that Trump is the first U.S. president to support gay marriage. The video was edited to also include clips of Trump explicitly saying that he is anti-gay marriage on several occasions.

Jeong also retweeted a post of comedian Andy Kindler on Trump earlier today, Nov. 4, which says, “As an American I am deeply ashamed that this genocidal racist madman got even one vote. #WakeUp.”

“Avengers” star Mark Ruffalo, who also campaigns for Biden, has likewise been active in posting updates on social media while also congratulating candidates from the Progressive Change Campaign Committee for currently leading the polls.
Ruffalo has been urging American citizens legally allowed to vote to cast their ballots, posting earlier today that “every American counts.”

NBA superstar Lebron James also formally endorsed Biden on Nov. 2, saying via Instagram, “We need EVERYTHING to change and it all starts tomorrow. #BidenHarris #MoreThanaVote.”
They are only three of several U.S. stars who have shown their support for Biden, including Lady Gaga, Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Dwayne Johnson and Ariana Grande, among others.
Rapper Lil Wayne has meanwhile expressed his support for Trump, sharing on Oct. 30 via Twitter a photo of them together.
“[Besides] what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done,” the rapper said.

“Clueless” star Stacey Dash, who likewise endorses Trump, earlier today replied to representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who lambasted Trump’s “premature claims of victory” as “illegitimate, dangerous, and authoritarian.”
“Exactly COUNT THE VOTES! But they stopped because he was winning. So take your own advice when it happens. He WINS,” Dash said, referring to Trump. Despite her claim that the vote count has stopped, it is still ongoing.

“Cheers” star Kirstie Alley has also been active in showing support for Trump. Earlier today, Alley tweeted that she is going to sleep and is “hoping to wake up with a new president named Donald.”

As of 2 p.m. (Manila time), Biden leads with 238 electoral votes over Trump’s 213.
