Celebrity stylist Liz Uy had Isabelle Daza to thank for apparently making her romantic relationship with businessman Raymond Racaza possible.
Under the comments section of Uy’s Instagram post last Tuesday, Oct. 27, where she donned her engagement ring, Daza congratulated her friend.
“Love you, you deserve it,” Daza said, to which Uy replied, “I love you!!!! You’re the best cupid [heart emoji].”

Many Instagram users, however, flocked to Daza’s comment to slam her for “enabling” Uy, whom they are accusing of having an affair with Racaza while he was still married to his previous wife, Dr. Geraldine “Ging” Zamora.
An Instagram page with the handle @happynature_ph, for one, commented that “she destroyed a family.” Another netizen with the handle @trynetizennn replied to Daza, “Ohhh so you’re the culprit??? — I mean cupid???”

Netizens also took to Twitter to slam Uy and Racaza for the said controversy, putting “Liz Uy” on the trending list of Twitter Philippines since yesterday.
Despite the controversy, many celebrities have been congratulating Uy and sending their well-wishes to the newly engaged couple.
For one, Iza Calzado commented, “Omg! Congratulations [to] the lucky groom and Best Wishes to you, Liz!!!!!”

Journalist Karen Davila, meanwhile, said, “Oh wow […] I know your story and am happy that you both got a second chance at love in this lifetime.”

In a tell-all interview with The Philippine Star in 2018, Uy said that Daza introduced her to Racaza back in 2016. The two are parents to 3-year-old boy Xavi, who celebrated his birthday just last month. /ra
