Aiko Melendez penned a heartfelt message for her partner, Zambales Vice Governor Jay Khonghun, as they celebrated their third anniversary as a couple.
Melendez told Khonghun that they have “a lifetime to share” together with their families, as seen in the actress’ Instagram post yesterday, Oct. 28.
“I want to thank you for encouraging me to do my best, [I] want to thank you for believing in me when i can’t even believe in myself,” she said.
“We have our ups and downs, We get annoyed with each other, One thing [I’m] certain about is [I wouldn’t] want this with another,” the actress added.
Melendez’s post was aptly accompanied by heartwarming photos of them wrapped in each other’s arms.
“I’m really sorry if we fight sometimes but no matter what [I] know we will get through all these. Happy Anniversary baby! I love you! Thank you for being the person that [I] can rely on,” the actress said.
“Thank you for the 1095 good morning texts that you send me [heart emoji] And thank you for letting me see the different sides of you, even the not so good ones. And most of all thank you for letting me know that love still exists and for sticking around when time gets tough,” she added.
Melendez first hinted at their relationship back in 2018 by simply sharing a photo of their hands clasped together, putting rumors back then to rest.
“I love you so much. There is no one [I] can’t think of spending the rest of my life with but you… Happy [third-year anniversary] Baby!” she said.
In an earlier post, Melendez thanked Khonghun for being her “number one fan and critic.” The post came with a photo of them together with a colorful backdrop that read, “HAPPY ANNIVERSARY.” /ra
