Sylvia Sanchez could not hide her excitement when her daughter Ria Atayde surprised her with a cuddly white puppy.
Sanchez gushed over the sweet gesture and her new pet on her Instagram page earlier today, Oct. 20, alongside photos and videos of the surprise.
“Ria bought me a dog and [I’m] very very happy, finally [I] have a dog that [I] can call mine,” she said.
Though the new fur baby came from Atayde, the young actress enlisted the help of her sister Gela and Sanchez’s niece Mikee to surprise her mom.
Sanchez noted that the three had left home early without asking for her permission. While she was initially irritated at their sudden leave, Sanchez was elated upon realizing that they had left for the new pet.
Atayde could not help but carry the nearly 3-month-old dog when the girls brought him home, as seen in one of the videos she shared.
“So happy!!! You really surprised me!!!” she expressed. “And thank GOD that [I] have kids and a niece that think of my happiness too.”
Along with Sanchez, her two children Gela and Xavi also have dogs of their own. Gela cares for a small, long-haired dog named Lulu, while Xavi owns a larger, short-haired dog he calls Bucky. /ra
