MANILA, Philippines—Actor Epy Quizon on Sunday denied his “Comedy King” father, Dolphy, has passed away.
Quizon told the Philippine Daily Inquirer there was no truth to rumors swirling on Twitter and Facebook that his 83-year-old father died after a lingering illness.
Quizon in March admitted that the comedy icon had been in and out of the hospital for some time now and “very weak.” With a report from Bayani San Diego, Inquirer Entertainment
