MANILA, Philippines — Actress Bela Padilla on Monday shared a glimpse of her trip to Cappadocia in Turkey, admitting she had to wait for her COVID-19 swab test result to turn negative before sharing her experience.

“I waited till my swab test result came back negative before posting anything. And I didn’t think I’d leave the country at all this year, but life really has to start moving again,” Padilla said in an Instagram post.

The British-Filipina actress shared a photo of herself looking at the skies of Cappadocia, known in the world for hot air balloon rides.

“I’m really super thankful that my job takes me to places I’ve never been before or never thought I’d go to,” Padilla said.

“Because honestly, I’m not one to go to touristy places, so Cappadocia was low on my list of places to visit. But now, I consider it one of my safe havens,” she went on.

In the comments section, Padilla said she had already returned to the Philippines.

Recently, netizens speculated Padilla was taking a vacation in Turkey after some photos of her riding a hot air balloon and an all-terrain vehicle surfaced online.
