There are many moments that make Dimples Romana a proud mother, but the one that makes her the proudest, it seems, is seeing her children discover the value in prayer.
Romana found her daughter Callie praying the rosary before her exams, as per Romana’s Instagram post on Saturday, Sept. 19. According to her, it warms her heart as a mother to see her children learn the very lessons she imparted in them.
“Sa mga panahon ngayon (these days) when we are bombarded with negativity left and right, it’s good to know that my children have learned that prayer gives us comfort, protection and grace,” said Romana.
She added that the past couple of weeks have been filled with blessings and that she has been sleeping with a grateful heart.
“This moment out of all the many beautiful moments that happened to me this week, this made me feel the proudest,” she said.
Romana again took to Instagram today, Sept. 21, this time to share a video of her 5-year-old son Alonzo saying grace before mealtime.
“Sharing with you how my bunso (youngest) finds joy in finally somehow being able to memorize this prayer,” she said.
Alonzo, apparently, has been trying for days to memorize the prayer, but there is no need to rush. According to Romana, he is almost getting there.
“Medyo [nakuha] na niya (He’s almost got it),” she said. “Baby steps anak (my child), baby steps.” JB
