MANILA, Philippines — The brood of Quezon City Vice Mayor Gian Sotto and his wife, Joy Woolbright-Sotto has grown as they welcomed their sixth child.

In an Instagram post on Monday, the Quezon City Vice Mayor revealed that his wife gave birth to a healthy baby boy last Sept. 12.

Gian is also the son of Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III and veteran actress Helen Gamboa.

“Hallelujah! All Praise Worship and Glory to You Lord, our Amazing God for another wonderful Blessing to our Family!” Gian said.

And although the newborn baby is his sixth child, the politician said he felt like he was a first-time dad.

“Grabe, pang anim na beses ko na maging Tatay pero feeling ko first time parin… (tulad ng tuwing kini-Kiss ko si @joywsotto feeling ko parang “First Kiss” palagi!),” he said in jest.

(My goodness! It is my sixth time to be a father but it feels like it’s still my first time, just like when I kiss Joy, I feel like it’s my first kiss every time!)

Joy, in her own separate Instagram post, said that giving birth to her sixth baby was “a totally different experience for me, compared to all other five pregnancies and deliveries.”

“I had so much fear and anxiety, I couldn’t stop crying,” she said.

“It was my first time to be alone, without @giansotto by my side, but grateful for my doctors and the nurses as well who helped calm me down and of course I Praise God for HIS comfort and peace upon me from delivery to recovery,” Joy added.

It was in April when the couple announced that they were having another baby.

Gian and Joy have been married since 2007. They are already parents to five other kids, four boys and one girl.
