Sanya optimistic about Bulacan airport
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sanya Lopez can’t help but worry about her hometown Malolos, Bulacan. And that’s why she is happy with each positive news about the province, including the one about San Miguel Corporation building a world-class airport in Bulakan, Bulacan.
“Nakaka-proud because I’m from Bulacan,” Sanya says.
Hope springs and this is exactly what the airport provides for Sanya’s province mates who have either lost their jobs or whose businesses were affected by the pandemic. The New Manila International Airport can reportedly accommodate 100 million passengers every year, creating over a million jobs and opportunities for tourism along the way.
Sanya said she is getting accustomed to the new normal. And due to the limited movement permitted, she also has to forego travel plans for now. But she is optimistic that once the pandemic has passed, everything will be back to normal and will be better for her hometown and the country.
“Lilipas din itong crisis na ‘to at mabibisita ko rin ang mga lugar na ‘di ko pa nararating,” Sanya says. And who knows, one of her upcoming flights could be at the world-class airport in Bulacan.
