MANILA, Philippines — It’s a bouncing baby girl for Paulina Sotto and husband Jed Llanes.
It was on Monday that Paulina gave birth to hers and Jed’s first child, whom they named Sachi Brielle.
Paulina is the daughter of Vic Sotto with former actress Angela Luz.
In an Instagram post, Paulina said that Sachi, who weighs eight pounds, was born at 6:14 p.m.
“I honestly can’t believe I got through this little girl’s birth. But I did, and here she is—absolutely perfect (and kinda chubby),” the artist said of her newborn baby.
“Mommy is a little traumatized but you were worth it,” Paulina added, describing her birth experience.
Jed, in a separate Instagram post, commended Paulina, saying that she went through 16 hours of labor “and a lot of pain” before giving birth.
“My wife @paulinavls is one amazing human being and she will be the best mom for baby Sachi,” he said.
“She went through 16 hours of labor and a lot of pain for this. Hug your moms today because its no joke,” he added.
Nevertheless, he could not hide his joy that he is now a “girl dad.”
“Welcome to this world Sachi Brielle. Your mom and I will give you the world and love you endlessly,” he said.
Paulina and Jed tied the knot on New Year’s Day in 2017.
