Quick on the heels of “The Bourne Legacy,” another US production is shooting in the country.
Nathan Adolfson’s “The Thief, the Kid, and the Killer” is currently filming in Metro Manila and has tapped an all-Filipino cast led by Epy Quizon, Lance Raymundo, Felix Roco, Joy Viado and child actor Arvy Viduya.
Prior to “The Thief,” Adolfson directed “Possessions” which top-billed Trent Ford (“The Vampire Diaries), Brien Perry (“General Hospital”) and Autumn Reeser (“The OC”).
Raymundo said the American production is “quite systematic.”
Quizon noted that Adolfson is “meticulous.” “We’d think it was a simple scene, but the director would shoot it over and over again.”
Raymundo agreed: “We do only one scene a day. Two scenes, maximum. We also rehearse before the cameras roll.”
“They’re disciplined. When you get to the set, you’d better know your lines by heart,” Quizon said. “I enjoy working on an international production. It keeps me on my toes.”
“I am inspired,” added Raymundo. Bayani San Diego Jr.
