“I’m raring to go back to work,” declared veteran actor Bembol Roco, who admitted to being one of those affected by the government-imposed lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting work stoppage in show biz.

“This is my life. It’s so disorienting to not be able to do it all of a sudden. It’s the first time that this has ever happened to me or to anyone,” pointed out Bembol, who was last seen on television in the drama series, “The Gift.”

The award-winning thespian added: “Entertainment is the most affected compared to other industries, but this is hardly being discussed. We are left to fend for ourselves. We don’t get government support. Walang kahit ano man.

“I know that there are productions that have already resumed work. Sadly, their number isn’t enough to keep everyone employed. We’re all affected by this pandemic.” —Marinel Cruz
