Alex Gonzaga warned her supporters about poser accounts on Facebook and YouTube pretending to be her and leaving comments on several contents on these platforms.
The actress and vlogger called out these fake accounts “in case the poser will do anything in the future that may cause drama and damage to our fellow [YouTubers,]” as per her Instagram post yesterday, Aug. 13.
She also disproved that she was the one joining some livestreams on YouTube.
“Please be aware that this is not my doing,” she said. “Poser accounts are using my name and profile photo to comment on these livestreams.”
“While I have been and always will be in full support of small and starting Youtubers, it is best if we verify these interactions first,” she added.
Gonzaga’s fellow celebrity Luis Manzano, however, tried to make light of his good friend’s warning by teasing her.
“Wushu, ikaw rin yun (that is you actually),” Manzano joked. “[Wag] na lokohan, kilala kita, scammer ka (Let us not fool ourselves, I know you. You are a scammer).”

Meanwhile, the actress celebrated gaining 8 million subscribers on YouTube this month, as per her Instagram post on Aug. 4.
“[Before I] started my channel [I] was made to believe and [I’ve] accepted the fact that [I] will never have my OWN audience so can you imagine how grateful and happy [I] am to have all of you!” she said.
Her new milestone in the video-sharing platform came after she marked her third year of creating videos for her channel.
“Yesterday is what [I] consider my anniversary on [YouTube] because exactly 3 years ago [I] posted my first ever vlog episode with ate,” she said on Aug. 1.
Gonzaga’s most recent vlog, which is a parody of the hit Korean series “Crash Landing on You”, is currently the No. 1 trending video on YouTube as of this writing.
