As Marian Rivera turned another year older, the actress is realizing that the simplest things in life could have the most meaning, especially amid the COVID-19 crisis.
“[My] only birthday wish is that all of you are safe and healthy,” Rivera told her friends, family and supporters via Instagram yesterday, Aug. 12. The actress celebrated her 36th birthday with her husband Dingdong Dantes and their two children, Zia and Ziggy.
“Let’s continue to pray and help each other,” Rivera added. “Thank you so much for all your birthday greetings!”
Dantes also showed his loving wife in her natural state during her birthday.
Without putting any words in his Instagram post, the actor displayed how happy Rivera was whenever she was surrounded by her children.
When Dantes turned 40 on Aug. 2, he honored his mother Angeline Dantes, as well as Rivera for being the “rock and core” of his life.
Rivera and Dantes have been married for five years. They have two children: 4-year-old Maria Letizia “Zia” Dantes and Jose Sixto “Ziggy” Dantes, who marked his 1st birthday last April.
The celebrity couple has also been busy helping medical frontliners and those who have been affected by the health crisis by offering them food and job assistance. JB
