Indie filmmaker Lawrence Fajardo’s “Amok” won top prize at the Detective Fest in Moscow last week, said producer/actress Suzette Ranillo. The award, plus 11 nominations for this year’s Urian awards is “sweet vindication,” Ranillio said.
Fajardo told Inquirer by phone on Sunday: “I felt I had won when I finished the film because everyone was happy with it. But these honors are a great bonus.”—Bayani San Diego Jr.
