I have two pet dogs: a 2-year-old Shih Tzu named Cholo and a 3-month-old Pug called Yoda. Cholo has many tricks. He can sit, jump, play dead. When I walk him, he doesn’t need a leash. He’s the perfect dog. I always bring him to the set so he’s used to other people. In public, he often acts like a little prince. Yoda is strong and brave, but she’s also malambing. She likes climbing up my neck and sleeping there. She’s so matakaw and she eats fast, unlike Cholo who’s a finicky eater. They play all the time.—Bayani San Diego Jr./photo courtesy of Gwen Zamora

My 7-month-old Chow Chow Bubbles is very affectionate. She is like a teddy bear—sweet, adorable and hyperactive! She is a great stress-buster and always makes me feel happy. She prefers to sleep on tile floors because she finds it cooler. But she never stays in one place. My uncle gave her to me last November, though she was born in September. She now lives in Bulacan, where there is plenty of room for her to run around. I take her to the vet regularly for check-ups and grooming.—Bayani San Diego Jr./Photo courtesy of Louise de los Reyes

Article continues after this advertisementOur family has several pets, but our favorite is Wayne, the Chow Chow. Wayne used to be my sister Sofia’s pet, but now he has claimed me as his one and only master. He keeps me
company at home. I usually take him for long walks around the village. I make sure to play with him whenever I have the chance. Chow Chows are lovable and playful companions. Wayne takes my stress away after a busy day at work.—Bayani San Diego Jr./Photo by Rodel Rotoni

Both my parents are pet lovers. We have two Toy Poodles: Kat-kat and Valentino. Kat-kat is the meek-and-mild type, while Valentino is grouchy. They are not related. Valentino got his name because he was given to us on Valentine’s Day. We bathe them every day. We also take them jogging each morning. Exercise for pets is very important.—Marinel R.
