Singer Claudia Barretto joined OneRepublic for an online performance of the band’s single “Better Days” to help raise funds against human trafficking.

The musicians teamed up with the nongovernment organization International Justice Mission for the production, as per Barretto’s Instagram post on Friday, July 10.

The said group focuses on rescuing victims of human trafficking and violence while strengthening justice systems globally. Prior to the performance, OneRepublic’s vocalist Ryan Tedder recalled the band’s trip to the Philippines where they interacted with survivors of human trafficking.

“Had the honor of performing alongside @onerepublic on their latest single ‘Better Days’ for a good cause,” the 20-year-old singer said of their collaboration.

The performance is part of the organization’s series of online concerts titled “Concerts of Hope”, as seen on its YouTube page. The initiative aims to raise money for the group’s operations and provide relief to those in need amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Those interested in helping the effort can course their donations through the organization’s website. JB
