Heart Evangelista transformed a wall in her and Chiz Escudero’s Sorsogon home into a beautiful mural inspired by the province’s plant life.
“Bringing the outside, indoors,” the actress said on her Instagram page last Sunday, July 5, alongside photos of her artwork. The large painting featured various plants made with different shades of green.
“For this project, I was inspired by Sorsogon’s abundant greenery,” she said. “I wanted to reflect it in our home’s interiors.”
The actress also thanked her friends, celebrity hairstylist Jeck Aguilar and talent manager Ira Lesaca, for helping her complete the large artwork.
Evangelista returned to Sorsogon last week to reunite with Escudero. The two had been apart for more than three months due to the community quarantine restrictions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to revealing the mural, the actress sold one of her previous paintings to purchase 550 tablets. The gadgets were given to students who have online classes during these unprecedented times.
Following the distribution of the tablets, Evangelista launched a project called Big Heart PH on July 1. The said initiative “will help equip students in need with tools for them to be able to continue their education.” /ra
