MANILA, Philippines — Bea Alonzo on Friday shared some good news as she tested negative for the coronavirus.
“The only ‘NEGATIVE’ I need,” the Kapamilya actress wrote in an Instagram post as she shared a photo of her rapid test result.
Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, Alonzo has been active with relief efforts through her organization I Am Hope, which she co-founded with her friend, producer Rina Navarro.
I Am Hope handed out 500 food packs for stranded students at the University of the Philippines-Diliman, as well as frontline workers of the Office of the Vice President.
The organization was also able to raise P9 million through cash and in kind donations for COVID-19 relief efforts.
Currently, the Philippines has 28,459 COVID-19 cases, with 7,378 recoveries and 1,130 fatalities.
