Keanu Reeves is auctioning off a private video call with him to help raise funds for a children’s cancer charity.
The actor partnered with the Camp Rainbow Gold organization in Idaho, USA, for the effort, as per the group’s Facebook post yesterday, June 15.
The highest bidder will win a 15-minute Zoom call with Reeves, according to the online auction’s website. The bidding began yesterday and ends on June 22.
The highest offer for the online date with the actor stands at $5,000 (over P250,000) as of this writing. The organization also pointed out that the call must take place on the week of July 6 and will be “based on mutually available dates and times.”
Reeves has reportedly been donating to various cancer charities in honor of his sister who battled leukemia, as per The Hollywood Reporter yesterday.
Along with Reeves, other celebrities have extended their help to the cause as well. Among them are former Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke, who is offering a 15-minute private online concert for a fan. A guitar signed by the singer Andy Grammar is also up for auction. Ryan Arcadio /ra
