‘Practice OC-ness’: Celebs advise caution as Metro Manila begins GCQ
As Metro Manila and other areas in the country shift to fewer restrictions under the general community quarantine (GCQ), celebrities reminded Filipinos to remain cautious about their health.
The loosened restrictions on movement starting today, June 1, comes despite rising cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country, with over 18,000 patients as of writing.
“Going back to work doesn’t mean that CoViD19 has gone away. It will be a part of our concern and an enemy to us all, and until a cure is finally found IT WILL BE PART of the new norm,” warned singer Gary Valenciano on Twitter. “Keep your guard up friends…at all times.”
