Ruby Rodriguez is now on her way to recovery days after she was confined to the Manila Doctors Hospital due to stomach pain.
“Good morning! [I’m] [feeling] better,” she said on her Instagram page last Friday, May 22, alongside photos of her on a hospital bed beside intravenous (IV) drips.
However, she says that she still feels pain, “but not like the other days.” Rodriguez also noted that the view from her room helps since it is “so nice” especially during sunsets.
The actress-TV host then thanked her followers for their well wishes while expressing how she hopes to be discharged from the medical center “in a couple of days.” The day after, Rodriguez had her bed placed nearer to one of the windows while she relaxed and watched a show on her iPad.
Rodriguez’s confinement comes after her family lost her older sister Dr. Sally Gatchalian in March due to COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. JB
