Angel Locsin expressed awe at an artwork that showed superhero Darna dressed as a health care worker on a Quezon City building.

The mural features Darna in a face mask and green scrubs, and with a stethoscope around her neck, as seen in a picture posted via Facebook by former commissioner at the National Youth Commission, Perci Cendaña, yesterday, May 17.

Artist AG Saño can be seen harnessed to a cable line as he paints on the side of a building in Maginhawa, Diliman.

“To our brave frontliners, Kayo po ang (you are the) real-life superheroes and thanking you for your selfless service isn’t just enough,” said Locsin.

She also heaped praises on Saño, known for making art to promote advocacies, such as peace and environmental conservation.

“Isang malaking karangalang maging inspiration mo sa pagpinta, AG Saño, at salamat sa patuloy na pagbibigay ng inspirasyon through your artwork,” Locsin said.

(It is a huge honor to be your inspiration in painting, AG Saño, and thank you for continuing to provide inspiration through your artwork.) JB
