A film set during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, aptly titled “Love Lockdown,” premiered on ABS-CBN’s video streaming service iWant yesterday, May 15.

The movie stars Angelica Panganiban as Leslie, JM de Guzman as Allan, Kylie Verzosa as Karen, Jake Cuenca as Jacob, Sue Ramirez as Abby, Tony Labrusca as Darren and Arjo Atayde as Fred.

The film tells about the story of “[seven] interconnected lives, entangled in a web of love, lust, and betrayal,” as per iWant on Twitter yesterday.

“Love Lockdown” was directed by Andoy Ranay, Darnel Villaflor, Noel Escondo and Manny Palo and was produced by Dreamscape Entertainment (“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” “The General’s Daughter”).

The adult and sexy film, as labeled by iWant, was shot in parts of the actors’ own homes, the stars revealed in a press conference on May 13.

Just last month, another project set during the lockdown period premiered online. The experiment, titled “Love Team,” was performed via Instagram Live by former onscreen partners Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz.  /ra
