Ara Mina donates truckload of rice in Laguna, QC, others amid COVID-19
Actress Ara Mina donated a truckload of rice to those in need amid the spread of the coronavirus in the Philippines.
Mina, together with a group called #TEAMDARVE, gave the bags of rice to communities in Laguna, Quezon City, Rizal, Caloocan and Angeles city, who are “severely affected” by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The actress posted photos of herself with volunteers and the donations on Instagram yesterday, May 13.

“Ang munting tulong na ito ng aming #TEAMDARVE ay sana malayo ang marating,” the actress said.
(Hopefully this small help of ours from #TEAMDARVE will go far.)
She then thanked the local government units and volunteers that helped distribute the donations.

Prior to handing out the bags of rice, Mina also helped give food packs, face masks and other relief items to various communities.
Along with Mina, other celebrities such as Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis and Marian Rivera have also extended their help to those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. /ra
