‘Crash Landing,’ ‘Kingdom,’ ‘Parasite’ nominated at 56th Baeksang Awards

MANILA, Philippines — Popular Korean drama series “Kingdom” and “Crash Landing on You,” as well as the satirical-thriller film “Parasite” have snagged nominations at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards.
According to popular Korean news website Soompi, Netflix’s period zombie thriller “Kingdom” and tvN’s “Crash Landing on You,” a drama about star-crossed lovers, are nominated for best TV drama.
Meanwhile, “Crash Landing” stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin are nominated for best TV actor and best TV actress, respectively.
The critically-acclaimed film “Parasite,” which won four Academy Awards including best picture, also got nominated for best film.
“Parasite” stars Song Kang Ho, Cho Yeo-jung, Park So-dam, Park Myung-hoon, Lee Jung-eun and Jang Hye-jin were also nominated for awards.
The 56th Baeksang Arts Awards is set to take place on June 5.
