WATCH: SexBomb Girls reunite to raise funds for COVID-19 frontliners

Rochelle Pangilinan and other former members of the sing-and-dance group SexBomb Girls reunited online to raise funds for COVID-19 frontliners.

The virtual get-together was set up by Pangilinan and featured Weng Ibarra, Yvette Pabalan, Monic Icban, Izza Trazona and Jopay Paguia. Pangilinan posted the 37-minute-long video call on her YouTube channel last Monday, April 27.

The group first caught up with one another, checking in on how each one was doing amid the ongoing enhanced community quarantine. They spoke on topics such as their family life and how they all matured after their SexBomb Girls days.

Pangilinan then shed light on how the employees in hospitals are still in need of help as they combat the spread of COVID-19. In light of this, their reunion also served as a fundraiser to buy supplies such as face masks and personal protective equipment for the frontliners. To encourage their fans to donate to their initiative, Pabalan sang “Tahanan,” a song featured in their TV drama anthology show “Daisy Siete.”

Pangilinan also revealed that she will be uploading another video of the group’s online reunion soon.  /ra
