Shaira Diaz distributes PPE, meals to frontliners in Las Piñas

Actress Shaira Diaz handed out personal protective equipment, face shields and meals to COVID-19 frontliners in Las Piñas City.

Diaz hand-delivered the supplies to various centers with her friend Lara Caytas, as seen in a vlog post on her YouTube channel last Tuesday, April 21.

The two were able to distribute a total of 33 PPE sets, 50 face shields and 50 face masks to the Las Piñas General Hospital. In addition, they also gave meals to 73 frontliners on duty in Barangay Pamplona Uno and Barangay Pamplona Tres.

Diaz later explained that the donations were purchased using the amount she and her friends collected from their fundraising campaign called “#BBsForACause.” She also expressed her gratitude to those who donated and supported the initiative.

Diaz then encouraged others to help in their own ways while also urging them to stay home to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Along with Diaz, her fellow celebrities such as Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista and Andrea Brillantes have also donated to frontliners and those affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.  /ra
