Moira Dela Torre sang her 2018 tune “Take Her to the Moon” as a tribute to the late basketball star Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna. The two died in a helicopter crash last January.
Dela Torre performed the song in front of a mural of Kobe and Gianna painted on a wall of a gym in Los Angeles, USA. She posted the video of her tribute on her YouTube channel last Tuesday, April 21.
Joining Dela Torre’s performance was her husband, Jason Hernandez, who played the guitar, and musicians Luis Cortez and Luke Sigua. The singer also disclosed that her tribute to Kobe and Gianna was shot before the enhanced community quarantine.
Dela Torre flew to the US last month for her “Braver” tour. However, the tour was later postponed due to the spread of the coronavirus.
Following the rescheduling of her concerts, the singer released two new music videos and her latest album titled “Patawad.” /ra
