‘Friends’ cast offers tickets to reunion special through COVID-19 fundraiser
The cast of “Friends” is raffling off a set of six tickets to the taping of their upcoming reunion special to raise funds for charities amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jennifer Aniston made the announcement on her Instagram page yesterday, April 21.
“We’re so excited to join the ALL IN challenge to help keep people fed and healthy during this time,” she said.

The said challenge is an initiative in which celebrities offer a “once-in-a-lifetime fan experience” to help raise money for various causes during the ongoing health crisis.
Article continues after this advertisement“We’re inviting you and five of YOUR friends to join the six of us on Stage 24,” she added. “Be our personal guests in the audience for the taping of our @HBOMAX reunion, as we reminisce about the show and celebrate all the fun we had.”

Those interested in meeting the cast can join the raffle by making a donation through this page. The fundraiser started yesterday and lasts until 11:59 p.m. ET on May 8.
Along with being guests to the taping, the lucky group will also have coffee with Aniston and her co-stars, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer, on the Central Perk set.
“Can’t wait to meet and hug you guys when this is all over,” Aniston said. “Until then, keep Facetiming, calling, DMing, and texting your friends and family. We gotta stay connected.”
According to the raffle’s website, the new taping date is yet to be determined as the production of the special has been postponed due to the pandemic.
All of the money raised will be donated to charity organizations Feeding America, Meals on Wheels, World Central Kitchen and No Kid Hungry. /ra
