Vhong Navarro, wife Tanya Bautista make meals for 150 frontliners

Vhong Navarro and his wife, Tanya Bautista, prepared meals for 150 frontliners who are combating the spread of the coronavirus in the Philippines.

The actor-TV host showed Bautista hard at work while cooking the food, as seen in a video on his Instagram page yesterday, April 21. Bautista also followed precautions against the virus by wearing gloves when she prepared the meals.

The couple worked with the I Am Hope organization, which Bea Alonzo co-founded with her friends to distribute the meals. Navarro joined the initiative on April 7.

The group later thanked Navarro and Bautista for their donation, adding that the meals helped feed 150 frontliners. They also expressed their gratitude to Greener Genes for the eco-friendly packaging used for the meals.

Prior to distributing the food prepared by the couple, the organization had also been collecting cash donations and partnering with various companies to assist frontliners. The group has already donated to the Philippine General Hospital, Laguna Doctors Hospital and Bayanan Health Center, among others.  /ra
