Arjo Atayde reacts to the question on why people think most show biz celebrities are vain.
“I don’t know about being vain, but taking care of myself is part of my job as an actor,” Arjo tells Inquirer Entertainment. “It’s always what I’ve wanted for myself—to be presentable. That’s why I make sure my skin is always clear and that I’m dressed well.”
Arjo, who has been dating actress-social media superstar Maine Mendoza since January 2019, admits that being in love “inspires me to take care of myself even more.”
He explains: “Obviously, you want to look good for the person, not for anyone else. On dates, I prepare by dressing up nicely. But on regular days, I just make sure that I’m neat and decent enough to be seen in public.”—MARINEL CRUZ
