You have a chance to get your own drawing by actor Tom Rodriguez — but first, donate to daily wage earners affected by the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine.

The “Dragon Lady” star showed his digital art on Instagram, some of which are portraits of comic book characters such as Clark Kent and Thanos.

Rodriguez is now set to lend his artistic talents for charity. He stated on Instagram yesterday, April 12, his involvement in a fundraising initiative called “Guhit Pantawid: Portraits for a Cause.”

He and artist Gab Garcia are part of the second batch of artists to join the effort to help displaced drivers, street vendors and construction workers.

To commission a drawing, P500 should be donated first to a beneficiary in designated Facebook groups. These groups are SuperTsuper for drivers, #PasokMgaSuki for street vendors and Tulong sa Construction Worker for construction workers.

After making the donation, requests for a drawing is made through a Google form. Commissions are open until April 17.

The initiative began with artist Mylo de Borja and copywriter Frances Cabatuando. Cabatuando announced last Saturday, April 11 on Facebook that the fundraising effort gathered P44,500 in three days. JB
