Actress Bea Alonzo spent her Easter Sunday cooking meals for frontliners hard at work.

Alonzo prepared a pasta dish for hospital workers, as seen on her Instagram page yesterday, April 12. There were other food donations as well, ready for distribution.

“For the first time, I tried to cook for one hundred people (but failed [laughing emoji]), I just ended up doing 98, but that’s okay,” she said.

“Given the circumstances, I decided not to be hard on myself because the core reason why I cooked in the first place is to give a little joy to our frontliners, and just by doing that, I already felt fulfilled.”

The actress signed off the packed meals with a tag that said “From, Your Easter Bobbie,” in reference to her character from “Four Sisters and a Wedding”.

These were sent to Fatima University Medical Center in Valenzuela and Quezon City hospitals East Avenue Medical Center, Philippine Heart Center and Lung Center of the Philippines.

Besides the pasta she cooked, frontliners were also treated to donations of shawarma and rice bowls, milk tea, cookies and cupcakes.

Alonzo, through her newly formed organization I Am Hope, has been collecting cash donations and partnering with companies to assist frontliners. The actress announced on April 4 that she put up I Am Hope with the help of friends. JB
