Beauty queen Shamcey Supsup used vegetables from her own home garden  to make meals for the frontliners working to combat the spread of COVID-19 in the Philippines.

Supsup gave bags of chili peppers along with other greens such as malunggay leaves as part of her food drive, as seen on her Instagram page last Sunday, March 22.

She stated that the harvested produce would be used to create meals for employees in hospitals during the pandemic. The meals will be prepared by Byaheng Busog, her food business with her husband, Lloyd Lee.

“If you want to donate or take part in our food drive, you can PM me or text 09257881616,” Supsup added.

Using the vegetables from her home, Suspsup later delivered some finished meals to health staff at the San Lazaro Hospital in Manila yesterday, March 23.
