Vice Ganda distributes medical supplies to hospitals amid COVID-19
Amid the fight against COVID-19, TV host Vice Ganda, like his fellow actors, has reached out to hospitals to replenish their dwindling medical supplies.
The comedian distributed boxes of N95 masks, disposable medical gloves, safety goggles, alcohol and disinfectant spray to the Lung Center of the Philippines, Quezon City General Hospital, San Lazaro Hospital and Philippine Children’s Medical Center, as stated in his Instagram post yesterday, March 20.
Recently celebrity dermatologist Vicki Belo donated the remaining stock of personal protective equipment from her company Belo Medical Group. Actors and real-life couple Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati, meanwhile, spearheaded a fundraiser to help frontliners get more medical supplies and equipment.
Vice expressed his appreciation for the health professionals risking their lives to battle the virus through his post. He also thanked his team and his suppliers for assisting him.
“MARAMING MARAMING SALAMAT PO SA [LAHAT] NG MGA FRONTLINERS PARA SA PAGMAMAHAL AT PAGKALINGA NINYO SA MGA MADLANG PEOPLE!” he said.
