Lifetime Achievement Award for Lisa Macuja-Elizalde

Lisa Macuja-Elizalde recently received the Natatanging Gawad Buhay (Lifetime Achievement Award) from the Philippine Legitimate Stage Artists Group, Inc. The award fittingly caps her 27th year as a professional ballerina, said Macuja-Elizalde, 46. “I will soon retire,” she revealed. Meanwhile, she has a full schedule touring with her Ballet Manila and will headline “Swan Lake” for the last time in October.
