“Frankenstein”

The scheduled screenings for Danny Boyle’s “Frankenstein,” with Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller alternating in the title role, are all set. Unfortunately, the virus outbreak is making it impossible for their screenings to push through at this time.

This we learned from actress-drama coach Thea Tadiar, who’s helping the British School Manila (BSM) organize the screenings of acclaimed theater productions on March 27.

Here’s Thea’s announcement: “BSM is regretfully postponing the screening of National Theatre Live’s ‘Frankenstein’ in light of the global COVID-19 pandemic and the raising of the public health alert in the Philippines to its highest level.

“As we cannot predict how long this situation will last, we are unable to set a future date for the screening. However, we will announce this as soon as we are able.
