‘Us Again’ will be showing in cinemas on February 26, 2020

The Jane Oineza and RK Bagatsing lead starring movie ‘Us Again’ from Regal Entertainment, Inc. can now be watched in cinemas nationwide starting on February 26, 2020. ‘Us Again’ will not be your run-of-the-mill romantic-themed movie, though upon watching the official full-length trailer for ‘Us Again’ I could immediately tell that there is a complexity to what this movie will be all about. This is a thinking man’s movie. One could say ‘Us Again’ will take you to the different stages of being in love and even perhaps falling out of love and wondering if it is worth rekindling that love?

As the norm, when the month of February begins, a lot of romantic-themed movies both local and international are shown in cinemas. I have seen a good number of these movies and yet not one of them felt like a truly comprehensive, complete and competent kind of romantic-themed movie that the moment I’d leave the cinema house I felt like it was not worth the price of admission to have watched them at all. A few of them felt “half-baked” like there were some good ideas there but they did not exactly materialize onscreen. Others felt disjointed in its plotline due to one too many obvious plotholes left in them. And one movie in particular even felt so rushed throughout the post-production process because of the messy final cut of the movie itself.

On the other hand, I have high hopes that ‘Us Again’ will not fall short of expectations or become like any of the above kinds of aforementioned movies. I expect it will be a romantic-themed movie that will feel comprehensive, complete and a competent one at that. I feel like enough time was put into the making of ‘Us Again’ so much so that each stage of the filmmaking process was given its due importance without overlooking anything that might adversely affect the final product which is the final cut of this movie that will be shown in cinemas.

The stars of the movie are a key factor to a movie’s success and there is no denying the outstanding acting chops and the versatility of Jane Oineza and RK Bagatsing as actors. There are good reasons why they were chosen to be the lead stars of ‘Us Again’ and one of those is their dependability to deliver as actors what is expected of them whether that be in romantic-movies, complex dramas or even dark comedies. These two actors can do it all.
