Support the government’s efforts to contain the novel coronavirus virus: Don’t go to the airport to meet your K-pop idols, the management of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) on Thursday appealed to fans of K-pop bands set to hold concerts in the Philippines.
“It’s not because Naia is contaminated but because we all should prioritize our health in times like these,” said Manila International Airport Authority public affairs chief Connie Bungag.
Seventeen, NCT Dream
The K-pop band Seventeen will hold its concert on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, while NCT Dream will perform at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City, on Feb. 29.
Medical personnel have warned the public against mixing with crowds in enclosed spaces, where the coronavirus could easily be transmitted.
